HRM is run by a missionary family. The Ulloms were in Ecuador for six years and experienced firsthand during their ministry the need for a different kind of retreat center.

• Brent and Ruth are also both missionary kids, Brent from Haiti and Ruth from Peru.
• Brent is a trained counselor and has his Master's Degree in clinical psychology. His specialty is marriage and family, cross-cultural, and crisis counseling.
• Ruth has a degree in education and loves hospitality and planning activities.
• Brent and Ruth have four adult children: Timothy, Hannah, Rebekah, and Elisabeth. Timothy is married to Ashley and they have a daughter Amelia.
